Nominations are open for the 2017 GrowerTalks/Dümmen Orange Young Grower Award!

In order to keep our industry moving into the future, it's vital that we realize the importance of discovering and nurturing the best young horticulturists.

That’s why GrowerTalks feels it’s important that we recognize and reward the under-35 growers out there who, for whatever noble reasons, have chosen to make the greenhouse industry their career.

This year will mark the 13th anniversary of the GrowerTalks Young Grower Award, which is presented to a worthy candidate who shows passion, creativity, leadership and a desire to excel. We’re taking nominations for the 2017 award, which will be presented at Cultivate'17 in July.

CLICK HERE for the online nomination form. Be sure to fill it out with plenty of details about you or your candidate’s responsibilities and experience, and tell us why you (or they) deserve the title 2017 Young Grower Award winner.

Deadline is March 1, 2017. We’ll choose three finalists from among our applicants. Those three will write an essay for the June GrowerTalks. All three finalists will be our guest at Cultivate, where we’ll announce the winner. The winner will be the subject of a cover story in the September GrowerTalks.
