Claudette Savaria, a member of Communities in Bloom, passed away on July 9 after a battle with cancer.

Claudette, horticulturist and recipient of the Sovereign’s Medal for volunteers, died peacefully surrounded by her family. In addition to her husband, Robert Caron, she is survived by her children Robert-Jonathan, Ashley-Anne (Rémi Bureau), her grandchildren Laurie and Thomas, her mother Mrs. Carmelle Baril Savaria, her brother, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and so many dear friends.

Services have already been held, but for those interested, a donation can be made to the Maison Source Bleue, Palliative Care Residence or to the Canadian Cancer Society. GT
