BAILEY NURSERIES
Amanda Harper is joining Bailey Nurseries as the National Accounts Manager for Lowe’s. She has many years of experience working with the retailer, most recently managing programs on the annual side of their horticultural offering. Amanda will be working with Lowe’s directors and regional buyers to present regionally appropriate branded programs for the entire United States. Her focus will be shrubs from Endless Summer Hydrangeas, First Editions Plants and Easy Elegance Roses collections.

In conjunction with her direct responsibilities with Lowe’s, Amanda will be working with each brand’s Network Licensees to ensure the supply chain fulfills nationwide distribution of the branded programs for Lowe’s stores. In turn, this role manages indirect sales of Bailey Nurseries’ plants, while JoAnn Kern, Bailey Nurseries’ Strategic Accounts Manager, will continue direct sales to Lowe’s in its distribution segments.

HENRY F. MICHELL’S
Moose Mountcastle has joined Michell’s as the new sales representative for its Utah and Idaho territories. Moose studied horticulture and business at Utah State University and has spent the past 24 years in both wholesale greenhouse and retail garden centers. His experience includes working for Tony’s Grove, White Pine Nursery, and Cook’s Farm and Greenhouse. In addition, over the last 14 years, Moose has owned and operated Garden Gateway, a production greenhouse and retail garden center in Logan, Utah.

Michell’s also welcomes Linda Hunkiar as the new sales representative for its northern Florida territories. Linda is an experienced sales representative who has worked sales in the horticultural industry for over 20 years. She has represented Twyford International, South Florida Plant Services and Formostco, and for the past eight years has co-owned a landscaping company. GT
