Or $1,000 for whatever Andrew Seemar wishes to spend it on, since he was the big winner in the Container Centralen Rack Distance Traveled Contest.

“Andrew’s guess of 36,000 miles was the closest,” says AJ Lambert, Director of Account Management. “Andrew and his nursery will each receive a check for $1,000.”

The Centralen rack in question saw 88 turns, traveling 34,745.4 miles over 12 months, the equivalent of 1.4 times around the planet. The contest brings up an interesting topic of just how many miles those racks see over the course of a year.

The top 10 racks traveled more than 300,000 miles in the last 12 months. Container Centralen ships to every contiguous state plus Canada and provides the North American hort industry with access to approximately 450,000 shipping racks/carts for delivery of live plants to garden center retailers. GP
