Americans Vacationing Less

It might be good news for garden retailers competing for discretionary dollars that more than half of Americans (56%) haven’t taken a vacation in the past year. According to Allianz Travel Insurance’s Vacation Confidence Index, more than 135 million Americans haven’t vacationed in the past 12 months. In 2014, that number was 126 million (52%).
