2ist Century Registries

Ann-Marie Vazzano
Toasters, linens and flatware aren’t the only things newlyweds need to set up house these days. What about TVs, surround sound systems and computers? Best Buy is taking a stab at the wedding registry game, offering what the company says is “a great way to gift tech essentials for today’s 21st century couples.” The registry officially launched in February and the retailer expects to have in-store kiosks up and running at all stores by early April. Registrants don’t have to feel guilty about registering for that $2,000 TV, either. A group gifting option for friends and family who want to contribute to a larger item is also available. GP
